I know there hasn't been much activity here for a long time but I've still been checking in. I'd love to get this board hopping again so we could have fun like the old times. Remember theme avatar parties, movie ratings club, stories in Luau Cove?? Good times...

Hey, Tif! I haven't talked to you in a long time. I don't know if you noticed on my Facebook page but my nephew got married over the Thanksgiving holiday. I think he and his girlfriend (now wife) are too young, they have plenty of time ahead of them, but it was what they wanted. Lord help us all.
I'm a bigshot in the Restaurant City forums on Facebook. lol! I just finished running my first contest and it went over really well. Even before that I was making lots of friends by helping people with the design of their restaurants. It's nice to find a place where your efforts are appreciated instead of questioned.
I hope you're doing well. Miss you!!!!

Hiya! Hope your nephew and his wife are doing well, and you and the rest of your family, of course!
It's quiet here, eh? Is everyone posting over at RTVP or are you keeping in touch through facebook?
I am doing fine, have lost another job-happily, yet again! I was there for three years and it was probably a year too long! My new grandson came along in May and when his mom went back to work I began caring for my grandbaby daughter and him about three days a week. They are so sweet and I am having a blast having them and teaching them new stuff, it is a lot of fun.
I am also considering starting my own business rather than trying to find another employment situation. It seems like no job is safe anymore and I really would rather have the control of my finances and my future in my own trustworthy hands. There are several avenues I can take to start with, I just need to decide which path is the right one for me.
