Prayers for Pika and Her Mom
I had a telephone call from Pika a little bit ago and it looks as though her mom is in the final stages of her battle with cancer. Pika is in hospital with her right now. She will likely complete this leg of her journey very soon. When she does, a joyous and wonderous beginning awaits. I know Pika's pain and her sadness as she goes through saying goodbye, but it is never really goodbye, only so long, cos you'll be with her again. Your love and your support means more to her than words can ever express and you must rest assured that she knows how very much she's loved by you. Pika, my prayers and thoughts are with you at this most difficult time and I'm only a phone call or a pm away if you need me. Pika, I'm so sorry...If you need to talk, I probably won't be much help, but I'm here!

Im sorry Pika, I wish there were magic words that would help you get through this, but unfortuneately there isnt. Just know that we all love you and are here for you. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

My mother died at 6:55 this evening. My dad, my sister, my brother-in-law, my nephew, my dad's oldest brother and his wife, and I were with her. Her family has a burial plot for her in Iowa so we're going to have the funeral there. Tomorrow we're going to a funeral home here in town to start making the arrangements. Thanks everyone for your well wishes. Right now I feel lost and not sure where we're going to go after we get around the pain of losing my mom.

I am so sorry to hear this. :sad: Pika.........you and you family will be in our prayers tonight...and for awhile. May God give you peace and knowledge that your Mother is at rest and that you will see her again. :cry:

Oh Pika, I'm so sorry. I know this will be so tough for your family, just know that we're here for you and thinking of you.

Pika, I said it on the phone, but it bears repeating-your mom will live on within you throughout your life and your strength and the positive outlook that you have will remain a blessing for you, as well. Have safe travels to Iowa, I'll keep the playground tidy til you return.

Pika, I am sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my prayers. Your mom is the angel on your shoulder watching over you and keeping you safe. Angel On My Shoulder An angel sits over my shoulder, I don't know from where she came. When I think all is lost and no hope can be found, I feel a gentle touch upon my heart, hope has been found. So much can be confusing, but she helps along the way. My steps are so much surer when I know she is leading the way. Where did this angel come from, only heaven knows. She brings a sweet peace that only an angel knows.
