I was just checking last night to see if you needed any help with the Chess badge. I got some help to finish the badge. I didn't want any one person to have to bog themselves down getting all 5 games for me so I had to find four different players to help me. One of them let me play twice in a row. I'm thinking of making Chess my personal challenge this week just so I can finish up the last Chess badge I need while so many people are willing to help. I hope I have as good luck tonight finding help as I did last night. Once again, I wish they would let you swap a personal challenge for one of the weekly challenges if you don't like what they're offering. I would gladly have skipped the Chess badge and worked on something else.

Yeah, I am not real thrilled with the chess challenges, either. Luckily I always have Friedrice to fall back on, if need be. Surprisingly enuf, he knows way more about chess than I do. His big brother taught him. Go figure, I know I never taught that kid Chess!

In part because of Harry Potter chess has become cool and lots more kids are playing it. I always sucked at chess and checkers. I like Chinese checkers even though I'm not very good at it. It might be neat if Pogo had Chinese checkers.

Hurray hurray hurray!!!!! Tiff and I happened into Pogo at the same time this afternoon and threw each other a bunch of chess games. I got my weekly challenge and also my personal challenge Chess from 2005 and have now filled my whole 2005 badge album! What a star!!!! Tif--There are some new costumes for the Pogo minis. One of them is right up your alley. It's called Her Royal Highness and looks like a queen. :razz: One little gripe about the mini's--why is it when they have a neat outfit, they put it in a stupid pose or have an awful looking hairstyle with it? I've noticed you can't always change the hair on costume so sometimes you're stuck with it. This week's challenges: Texas Hold 'Em Poker Lasso'em Badge: Win 10 hands with "Two Pair" or better this week! Win this badge plus 800 Tokens! Stack 'Em Moo'em or Lose'em Badge: Clear 500 brown cows this week! Win this badge plus 600 Tokens!

Those badges took about 5 minutes each. Booooooooooring!

When they have a week where the challenges are real short, I pick a personal challenge that takes a long time to do. I'm working on Tumble Bees this week. I hate that game because I suck at it. I'm doing better than I used to do, though. I only have to get 10 jackpot spins. There's another Tumble Bees badge where you have to get 40 jackpot spins but I didn't think I was ready for it.

I'm using up all my tokens I've been so diligently saving. I had over 400,000 at one time and now I'm down to 205,000. I wish I hadn't spent so much recently when they had the costume sale. Then I would have had more to spend now! :evil: I need to start playing games that will give me lots of tokens. :razz:
