You're right Pika, they do. I finally found someone who actually stayed to play and managed to get nine sets of doubles! Hurray!
pika- 05-25-2005
Yay! I was able to get a room with another beginner and we fumbled through and both got our badges, although neither of us knew what we were doing.
Sounds like a first one-night stand, doesn't it?

I got the Aces Up badge. It took me 56 rounds to get 140 planes today. I got the other 60 planes yesterday.
pika- 06-01-2005
Shoot, my confidence had gone up last week since I was able to get the backgammon badge but I'm totally sucking at cribbage. I haven't won a game yet.
Princess Poopypants- 06-02-2005
I stayed up until midnight on Tuesday night to get that stupid Aces Up badge. I played something like 75 rounds total over two days. I got the Backgammon one pretty easily. For my personal challenge, I chose Lottso. That took 30 minutes and was very fun.
I tried to play Cribbage and I suck at it. I really had absolutely no idea what was going on the whole time. I'm not sure yet what I am going to pick for my personal challenge.
pika- 06-02-2005
I did finally win two games of cribbage. Looks like it's going to take a long time to get that badge.
I already got the badge for the Turbo 21 game. I'd never played it until last night and right now I'm not sure if I like it. I don't like timed games so I didn't like that part of it. I haven't been able to get enough 21's to get a jackpot spin and I don't know how some of those people got up to 1000 points!
I haven't selected a game for a personal challenge yet. I'll concentrate on getting the cribbage badge first and then see how much time I have left. If it's several days until next Wednesday, I can pick a challenge that will take some time to get. Otherwise I'll have to pick something I can get quickly.
Princess Poopypants- 06-02-2005
I like Turbo 21, but I don't like to play it too often. It gets boring very quickly. My mind can think very fast about numbers, so for me it is fun. Gee, that doesn't make me sound like a nerd, now does it? :?
How many games of cribbage do you have to win?

That sounds worse than ACES UP!!!!!!!!

I got the Turbo 21 badge in a few minutes, and have almost finished the Crib one. Again, I hate having to play with people who don't know how to play because it makes the game go so long, so I just switch from room to room until I find someone who plays quickly as well.
I took Gin Rummy as my personal challenge this week and have to win 50 hands for the badge. I love Gin Rummy!

Is that in the 2005 badge collection? I haven't seen that one.
Rufus- 06-02-2005
No, I think it's in 2003, or possibly 2004 .... I love the game so went looking for a challenge for it.
DarStar- 06-02-2005
Turbo 21 is not a game for me.. i hate the timing.. seriously pissing me off.. LOL.

This week's challenges:
Poppit!™: Release 2,500 prizes this week!
Euchre: Win 5 games this week!
I haven't played Euchre before so I hope it's not too hard. Winning 5 games doesn't sound like much so I assume it must be a bit difficult to win, otherwise you'd have to win 30 or more games to get the badge.
I also saw that a new feature is coming--Pogo Minis.
An exciting sneak peek is on its way to Club Pogo. Introducing a whole new way to express yourself and be unique on Pogo... Pogo Minis!
What's a Pogo™ Mini?
A Pogo Mini is a picture of a small person that represents YOU on Pogo. There are lots of items you can get for your Pogo Mini to dress it up and make it your own. Choose from shirts, hats, pants, dresses, costumes, and funny facial features. Choose a background setting for your Pogo Mini that resembles a slice of home or a vista of a far-off land. Other objects and surprises are on the way. We're just getting started!
Where do I see my Pogo™ Mini?
Your Pogo Mini will appear in your profile, and in the chat area of the games. From chat, you may browse through the Pogo Minis of everyone in the room!
That's not all! We've worked Pogo Minis into Jungle Gin, Texas Hold'em Poker, Canasta, and Casino Island Blackjack so you can see your Pogo Minis in action. Your Pogo Mini will "chat" and react to what happens in the game!
OK, how do I get a Pogo™ Mini?
When we launch Pogo Minis, every Club Pogo member will get their own basic Pogo Mini automatically. Pogo Minis are exclusive to Club Pogo members! Change your look every day, every hour, or every minute — the possibilities are up to you.
You can:
Make your Pogo Mini look just like you
Make your Pogo Mini look nothing like you
Use tokens to collect new outfits for your Pogo Mini
Be a Pogo Mini guy or gal – it's up to you!
Interact with your Pogo friends in a whole new Pogo Mini way!
