Plans for Turkey Day!!!
What are you doing for Thanksgiving this year? Or if you're a Canadian and already had Thanksgiving, what did you do for Thanksgiving? I'm going to the Keys as usual. Yippee! I'm leaving Friday after work to go to my dad's house in Venice and we'll head for the Keys the following day. My dad and Melody are going, with Melody driving the RV. I'm going to leave my car at their house and drive their Suburban so we'll have a vehicle big enough for everyone to get around in on our trip. Roger and his girlfriend, Megan, are going. She's going to drive her vehicle. Melody's kids aren't going to be able to come because they have to work. Plus I get the feeling they're not too thrilled about the Keys, from their last visit there. It was colder than it usually is in November and they weren't into fishing so it wasn't their type of trip. I think we'll probably have hamburgers on the grill for Thanksgiving Day, which would suit me just fine! I'm going to try to keep up my diet while I'm on vacation and I should get plenty of exercise from all the walking we do. I'm really looking forward to it!
