New Fall TV Shows
So what new fall tv shows are you looking forward to? There are a couple promising new one that I may check out. Hopefully they won't suck. Surface - NBC: Looks interesting. I love movies about mysterious ocean creatures. Hopefully NBC will give it a chance and not pull it off the air right away if it doesn't come out of the gate on fire. Then again, they may not care and cancel it after less-then-stellar ratings a couple weeks in a row. Threshold - CBS: I was interested in this show at first. I'm a sci-fi nut. But I'm sick to death of seeing commercials of this show already. I'm bored with it. I doubt I'll even check it out. The same goes with that Ghost Hunter show that I'm so tired of seeing promos for. My Name Is Earl - NBC: Looks funny, and quirky. Hopefully it'll follow in the steps of Malcom In The Middle, Scrubs, and Arrested Development and not have a stupid, annoying laugh track. Invasion - ABC: All I know of this series is that strange things start happening after a hurricane. From the commercials I've seen so far, it looks like the most interesting new show of the season.

The only show I'll probably watch is Inconceivable on NBC, Fridays at 10:00pm. I want to see how accurately they portray a fertility clinic. I might give Surface, Threshold and Invasion a look-see.

Re: Reunion
The new FOX show, Reunion, looks interesting. I've taped the first episode but haven't watched it yet. I'm hessitant about it since I think it comes on Thursdays. Which means its up against either Survivor or The Apprentice. Which is not a good sign for that show. It's high up on the list of shows to be canceled right away, I'm guessing. Of course, it's on right after The O.C., which has a decent following.

I watched the premiere episode of Supernatural. It was good but I wonder if they'll be able to sustain it for the whole season.

The WB network doesn't come in all that clear where I live. It used too, but recently the station changed its channel to one that doesn't come in too good for me.

Re: Head Cases
Head Cases, the new FOX legal comedy/drama was the first casualty of the new season. It was axed after only two episodes. It was on Wednesdays at 9 o'clock.

I like the new show Bones and the premiere episode of Ghost Whisperer was pretty good. It looked like at the end of the episode she meets the ghosts of next week's episode. I have to admit I'm curious to see next week's episode now because it appears to be the ghosts of a family (Dad, Mom, and two kids).

So far, the new shows I watched were: Reunion: Liked it, will try to see all of them if it stays on the air. Bones: LIked it, but it wont bother me if I miss it. I didnt really like the main female, the one they call Bones. Head Cases: I actually liked this, I thought it was quirky. Apparently I was the only one 'cause its been cancelled already. Twins: Its okay, but I wont go out of my way to see it. How I Met Your Mother: It was alright, I thought it would be better. I dont really care if I miss this one. Kitchen Confidential: I liked this one...it probably wont last. Out of Practice: I liked this one too...probably wont last, but I hope it does. My Name is Earl: It was okay, Ill need to see more. But I dont think it lived up to the hype. Apprentice-Martha Stewart: I liked it...a Martha'd up version of the original Apprentice. E-Ring: Love Benjamin Bratt, liked the show too. Criminal Minds: I liked this. Mandy Patinkin plays a criminal profiler. Kinda reminds me of 'The Profiler' that used to be on. Inconcievable: I liked it. Too bad its on Fridays..the tv show death night. Still to come... Commander in Chief: Gina Davis as the countrys first female President. Sounds kinda like the West Wing. I like Gina Davis so I expect this to be pretty good. We'll see.

Hubby and I watched "Surface" and "Invasion." The premieres kept our interest enough to continue watching. It doesn't surprise me that "Head Cases" was already cancelled! Just the promos alone looked stupid. I had no desire what so ever to see that show. What was Chris O'Donnell thinking? :?

UPN's Sex, Love & Secrets will probably be the second show of the new season to be canceled. Word is the filming of the show has stopped. I've never even heard of this show, but apparently it's a drama that stars Denise Richardson and airs Tuesdays at 9 o'clock. Poor, poor Denise. First, Charlie cheats on her. And now she gets her show canceled. Sheesh. I thought it was next-to-impossible for a UPN show to get canceled. I mean, there's shows on that network that have been on for years that I've never even heard of.

Another new show has been axed. I learned today that FOX has canceled Kitchen Confidential.

I just seen an ad for "all new episodes" of Kitchen Confidential. :?
