June 30th show I am so glad to see Tommy gone. He was so annoyingly arrogant and condescending toward his teammates. He thinks he's all that and then some. He was so sure his team would win and he would get all the credit. When they lost and he got the lion's share of the blame (deservedly), he couldn't accept that. Even in the final interview to the camera, he was deluding himself about his skills and his confidence that Tommy Hilfiger knew how brilliant this Tommy was. Get over yourself already!!
Jessica luckily found a good model and she defended herself well on issue of that's all she did. Even had she wanted to contribute more, Tommy probably wouldn't have let her since he thought he was running the show. I couldn't believe that his team was pretty much working on one dress at a time.
I've liked Jeff's work ethic on other episodes but this time he came across as an idiot with bad ideas and no skills.
Am I the only one shocked that so many of these designer wannabes don't know how to sew?? I would think that would be manditory for a clothing designer. Wouldn't they expect to have to do that in a competition like this?

No. I was surprised by that too. On Project Runway, they all knew how to sew and sewed their own clothes. I too would think that a neccessary skill for a designer. Im beginning to get the impression most of these people are artists that can draw what an outfit should look like but dont really fit the role of designer. I can draw a semi-recognizable dress, but dont ask me to actually make it.
I agree with the rest of what you said too. Tommy needed to be brought down a peg or two. Next one is Princess...she's another that thinks she is all that but really isnt. Shauna can be glad TH didnt ask her what her role was because if she would have been honest...it was to lie in bed and leave everyone else do the work.
OH..and how about the way the camera panned to and then stayed on Princess when TH was saying how in the past the con-*test*-('")ants didnt do so well socially
edited to change TF to TH...his name is Tommy Hilfiger , not Filhiger.

Last night was the first time I watched the show and at first I liked Tommy, but when I saw what a "Diva" he was, I didn't like him anymore! He had the nerve to change Princess's design then he tried to lie his way out when confronted by Tommy H.
The dress (Tommy's altered design) was horrible! It looked very
amateurish, despite Tommy's gloating about how his team had it in the bag.
I knew the other team was going to win when I saw the dress on the "model." It was elegant and flowing and fit their model perfectly.
The other dress looked very stiff and uncomfortable.
I'm glad Jessica is still there. I thought Tommy H. was going to give her the boot since she didn't contribute all that much with the making of the dresses, but as you pointed out Brinna, Tommy probably wouldn't have let her.
I actually like this show and will watch the remainder of the episodes.

As soon as TH said the challenge was to design dresses, I knew Tommy would pull a diva act. Well, he divad himself right down the runway. At one point I liked him, but he's so full of himself that he totally turned me off. I agree that Princess should be the next one to leave. She's annoying as hell!
