All-Stars Speculation
I am so glad the CBS TAR-website is up and running. And yes, I read the spoilers. And yes, I've seen pictures. And no, I don't think I know who wins. And you know what? I don't care who wins. I just look forward to some of the most competitive, cut-throat, intense, racing ever. :cool: Every week though is almost sure to be a heart-breaker since there are so many favorite teams. I just hope the show does them all justice and that it lives up the the TAR reputation of exellence (and for all you nay-sayers...I liked the Family Edition too...). :razz: Despite the above though....here is some purely PERSONAL speculation based on watching ALL sesons of TAR...not on any spoiler material. ALL the teams are good. But here is my view- Teams that should do exceedingly well - Danny & Oswald - because of their good attitudes and language skills. Rob & Amber - because of their drive, determination, and recognition factor. Also very fit, tough in physical challenges. Uchenna & Joyce - only winners on the race. Counts for something. Will do anything to win. Joe & Bill - Language skill and very intelligent. Only problem could be serious physical challenges. John Vito and Jill - Physically powerful. Smart enough. Probably most intense team on race. Jill is the drive. John the muscle. This could be the one. IMHO. Dustin & Kandace - Killer instincts and pretty faces combine for tough competition. Teams that will have issues - David & Mary - No help from other con-*test*-('")ants this time. Physical challenges will probably eliminate them. Bless her heart, Mary is a reality fan...but she's not fast. Kevin & Drew - Heaven knows I WANT them to do well. I have loved these bald jokers since I saw the very first episode of TAR. But in this race of sharks...they may not be able to lovingly, bumble their way to the finish. *heavy sigh* Teri & Ian - I don't care how well they did the first time. If they bicker as much as the first...they are doomed. Mirna & Charla - Yes, they are tough. Yes, they can be smart. But this time, NO ONE will cut them slack. NO ONE will underestimate them. And again...some physical challenges will be difficult, especially running. They could do well, but luck will need to ride with them. Eric & Danielle - This is not Team Einstein. They could do well in physical challenges...and maybe, just maybe, they could do well together in other challenges. Eric and Jeremy did alright with just muscles and looks...so maybe I'm underestimating them. But they haven't raced as a team...so, the jury is out. That's my view...speaking from the cheap seats. Can't wait for the race to start and see for myself. :grin:
