Alla, 31, a self-made multi-millionaire, owns a chain of upscale Dolphin Court Salons & Day Spas in Las Vegas. She also builds million dollar custom mansions for resale and invests avidly in commercial and residential land. Alla was born and raised in Chisinau, capital of Moldavia, former Republic of the Soviet Union and moved to the U.S.A. with her parents in 1988 to fulfill the “American Dream.” At age 19, she purchased her first building, and at age 23 she was one of the youngest pioneers of the spa boom. Recently, she negotiated one of her most lucrative business deals by selling the spa and the salon she owned at a star studded Hotel and Casino in Henderson, Nev. Encouraged by her celebrity clientele, Alla has been developing her own European-derived skin care and hair care lines. She successfully balances a happy marriage, motherhood to her four children, and a thriving career in the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas.
What is your favorite music?
I don't listen to heavy metal. I am somewhat selective on rap and country, but everything else goes. As long as it has a great beat, and I can dance to it, I love it.
What are your favorite books?
I love reading autobiographies and tell-all books. One of my most favorite business books is Who Moved My Cheese? I read a lot of books on nutrition and exercise as well.
What are your favorite TV shows?
I watch OC and Desperate Housewives. I also like E! True Hollywood Story, American Idol, Law & Order, and the Apprentice, of course.
What are your favorite movies?
I am truly a movie junkie. I see EVERY movie that comes out. It is impossible for me to have a few favorites, but some of the movies that left a lasting impression on me and ones I would recommend are:
American Pie One and Two, Legally Blonde One and Two, White Chicks, Old School, Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, Wedding Crashers, Legends of the fall, The Patriot, Titanic, Braveheart, Erin Brockovich, A Beautiful Mind, The Notebook, Gladiator, The Sixth Sense, Troy, The Aviator, The Phantom of the Opera, Catch me if you can, Fantastic Four, Spider Man, The Incredibles, Shark Tale, Finding Nemo, Shrek One and Two.
