ABC Cancels "Alias"
The finale will air in May. And once again, this is more proof that having a main character get pregnant on a televison show is never, ever a good thing. ABC also made a stupid mistake of moving Alias from Wednesday nights after Lost (where it enjoyed its best ratings ever) to Thursday night against Survivor. Even thought I'm relatively new to the show, I'm going to miss Alias.

BOOOOO... but atleast there's always the DVD collection.

Well, that stinks! Is it ratings or does Jennifer Garner want to take time off to be a Mommy?

Re: Alias
On a positive note, at least the writers and producers know the fate of the show way in advance and have plenty of time to wrap up all the loose ends and end the series in a way that should satisfy the fans. In other words: no cliffhanger finale this time around.

Well, that stinks! Is it ratings or does Jennifer Garner want to take time off to be a Mommy? Here are the last three paragraphs from: ABC cancels stylish spy series 'Alias' "Initially, Alias was as popular for its fast-paced and complicated storylines as for Garner's glamorous costume changes and each week's seemingly impossible missions in global hotspots. Prominent guest stars have included director Quentin Tarantino, actress Isabella Rossellini and Ricky Gervais from British comedy The Office. However, recent seasons of the hip spy drama have struggled to attract audiences. The show experienced a major change earlier this year when Garner announced she was expecting her first child with fellow actor and husband, Ben Affleck. Producers decided to write her pregnancy into the plot so over the course of the season, Garner's character has become more of a mentor for a new spy."

Re: Ben Affleck
I'm hoping Ben Affleck will stop by before the finale for a guest appearance on the show. What else does he have to do nowadays? Is he even working in Hollywood anymore?
