3/15 Show Discussion (Spoilers!!)
They're doing a Motown theme tonight. Jessica started off the show with Shop Around and did a really good job. Next was Anwar and I wasn't familiar with the song he did. He was a bit pitchy but aiight (as Randy would say). Then was Mikalah with Son of a Preacher Man. Another pitchy performance. Constantine followed with You've Made Me So Very Happy. I thought he was very pitchy and his last note floundered but the judges raved about him and made me wonder if we had been watching the same performance. Lindsey did Knock On Wood. I really don't like her voice and the judges didn't have good things to say about her. Anthony was next with Breaking Up Is Hard To Do. He's one of my favorites but tonight he really didn't have it. His performance was disappointing. Then Nadia did "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me". She kicked serious butt! Simon said in a competition full of hamburgers, she was a steak. Next was Bo singing "Spinning Wheel". He doesn't do it for me but the judges continue to fawn over him. I don't get it. Vonzell sang "Anyone Who Had A Heart". She did well but ended on a bad note. I think she was paying more attention to her stage performance than to her vocals at the end. Scott did "Ain't Too Proud To Beg". His performance style is well suited for Motown songs so he did great. Carrie went next with "When Will I Be Loved". FOr a change Randy and Paula dissed her performance while Simon had good things to say about her. I thought she was pitchy and not up to her usual standard. Nikko ended the performances with "I Want You Back". He didn't make any mistakes but his performance wasn't great either. Just kind of middle of the road. I was most impressed by Jessica and Nadia. Nobody else made a strong impression.

Nadia wins- give it to her now.

I've been voting for my man Nikko for the past 10 minutes now. I am getting mostly busy, so that makes me happy. Nikko should last another week

Nadia? Seriously? She looks constipated and bitter when she sings. I thought the best chick performance was Vonzell, and the guys...Bo. I voted for Vonzell in the last 30 minutes or so of voting time and got about half through and half busy. I voted for Lindsey, too, and got through almost every time  . Positively, I voted about 10 times for Bo throughout that time period and got busy signals every time, and that was at the end of the voting period. Woohoo!

Nadia wins- give it to her now. I have to agree! She's the best female. For the guys I like Anwar and Anthony, yes Anthony! Bo's cool, can't stand wanna be rocker Constantine.

Re: Top Five
The top 5 performances of the night: 1) Constantine - I don't care if he is a wannabe rocker or not, I like him. This week was probably one of his best performances. If he can continue this kind of performance week after week, he's a contender for a spot in the finals. 2) Bo - Another flawless performance this week. Well, except for the part when he took the microphone stand for a stroll. 3) Jessica - There are two reasons why Jessica is quickly becoming my favorite gal of the competition. I let you figure out what exactly those two reasons are. 4) Nadia - This girl has real talent. I expect her to go far in the competition. I didn't care for her as much this week as in the past because of the song she chose. I enjoy her more when she sings upbeat songs. I find slow songs incredibly boring. 5) Carrie - Little Miss Country Girl had better find herslef some charisma... and fast. Nadia is quickly becoming the favorite gal of the judges, and probably the audience as well. A superb voice alone isn't going this compeition, a little personality is needed.
